CNN recently ran a story on the top 25 innovations of the past
25 years. They plan to announce the
number one innovation on Sunday Jan. 16 at 8 pm Eastern. Looking at the list, it is hard to imagine
life without some of these major conveniences – ATMs (no. 14), voice mail (no.
23) and cell phones (no 2.). These
advancements have fundamentally changed the way we live and will probably beg
questions from our bewildered children and grandchildren wondering how we ever
got along without them. And I hate to
ruin the anticipation for next Sunday’s reveal, but the PDA is noticeably
absent from the list… Could it be the
best invention of the past 25 years?

Update: Um, yeah, when we said the PDA would be #1, what we meant was the Internet.
