Amy has more than a decade of experience developing, executing and managing strategic communications programs for a variety of large technology brands and emerging start ups in Silicon Valley. Her experience is deeply rooted in storage networking and business software, where she’s devoted much of her career to driving highly-successful corporate and product PR programs, analyst relations and internal communications for companies such as NetApp, Hitachi, Dell, and Ariba.
Currently, Amy is also the corporate PR lead for Hitachi Global Storage Technologies and manages PR communications for Sendmail, an email messaging infrastructure company. Previously, she managed both product and corporate PR communications for Ariba, where she helped the company establish a new industry category for Enterprise Spend Management (ESM) solutions and helped managed external communications for the company’s strategic merger with FreeMarkets. Amy’s past clients also include smaller on demand business software start-ups such as SaaS procurement provider, Ketera, and Helpstream, and on demand customer service company.
