Mike is the GM of the Voce Connect team and works out of Voce’s Silicon Valley office. Mike joined Voce in 2002 and spent the greater part of the dot com bust working with the entrepreneurs that enabled the next “web 2.0” boom. In 2004, Mike was contracted by Yahoo! to manage one of the very first corporate social media marketing programs and has since continued to help brands like Comcast, Disney, Intel, and PlayStation architect and implement their own social media initiatives. Outside of Voce, Mike organizes a local meetup for Bay Area PR and marketing professionals called Third Thursday. He’s also the best practices chairman for the Society of New Communications Research, a non-profit think tank devoted to new media research.
