Voce Project Listed as one of Time.com’s 50 Best Websites of 2011

Last summer we had the privilege of being involved in the development of a new project for the National Center for Family Literacy where the goal of the project was to build a place where learning could be “nurtured through the power of discovery, creativity and imagination.” The result was Wonderopolis.org, a place that proves you can truly learn something new every day and – more importantly – have fun with it.
The was a project developed in conjunction with our friends over at Brains on Fire and it was truly an honor to find out this week that Wonderopolis has been chosen as one of Time.com’s 50 Best Websites of 2011. No wonder (sorry) since the site features such diverse “wonders” as this one a wonder about pink flamingos that has grown to 320 wonders and counting.
Our platforms team is unbelievably proud to be a part of this project and thrilled that such a worthy endeavor has received such high profile attention. It’s no secret that we’re firm believers in the WordPress platform and this is another example of the team leveraging WordPress’s flexible framework to fit a program’s needs.
