We Are Communication Architects
Building brand awareness through content creation and community engagement.
More Case Studies
In 2010, we were asked to take on the new Packard.org project. They currently weren’t utilizing a WordPress platform so this project was built from the ground up. We were able to provide a site designed to highlight important visuals with a rotating lead on the homepage, special widgets to highlight Grantee stories and a database management system for the Grants and Fellowships.
Ree, from the Pioneer Woman, is also the master mind behind Tasty Kitchen. This year we re-launched the site to resemble the Pioneer Woman theme. Both of her sites provide content for one another which also needed special development attention. Now with a new network bar – both can live together but remain separate. Warning: content might make you hungry.
MIT Sloan Management Review
MIT Sloan Management Review is the magazine site to MIT Sloan Management Review. It’s a site that requires different levels of membership to access information. It’s been set up to import MIT SMR articles into WordPress posts with permissions. Visitors have the ability to choose their level of membership within the site and will be able to read about the benefits of each level.
From an interface perspective, we’ve combined MIT SMR’s database program (ESP) to work cohesively with WordPress logins and password functionality. Ultimately, users don’t need to worry about multiple logins and passwords.
This particular project took a lot of app development strategy and a particular process flow to fully understand the user experience and technical points.
