This year, CBS came to us with a project for Nick Cannon. The triple threat celebrity was launching a new radio show on 92.3 Live and needed a site to go with it. Cannon’s Countdown is just that – a countdown of Cannon’s latest pop and urban favorites.
This year, MIT Sloan Management Review needed an update to all their gated content and user access levels. This particular project took a lot of strategy and multiple structure options to ensure that both MIT SMR’s database program (ESP) worked cohesively with WordPress login.
Tasty Kitchen is an online food community where users can login, upload recipes, and update personal profiles. The ability to upload a recipe is prominent and consistent throughout the site for easy access. The Pioneer Woman uploads her own favorites and also chooses her favorites among other shared recipes. The homepage highlights recipes with a rotating lead and showcases popular recipes, the latest recipes that are easy to filter by tabbed criteria (recent, rating, photos and title) and recipes from the Tasty Kitchen blog.
Visitors can search for recipes through built in search criteria (keywords, category and members) that help create a more accurate search result. There is also a blog component that displays recipes step by step. We’ve integrated recipe short codes to make printing recipes from the blog easy and quick.
